Mrs. Glaser's First Grade: August 2009

I am looking forward to meeting all of my new first graders on back to school night! Back to school night begins at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday the 27th.

When we are 100 years old...

In celebration of our 100th day of school, students took a photograph of themselves on their iPad (some were already accessorized as we dressed like we were 100 years old today!). Next, they used the Doodle Buddy app to add mustaches, beards, gray hair, wrinkles, glasses, and things of that nature to age themselves even more! Then, they imported their photo to the Explain Everything app to add a sentence about what they will be like when they are 100 years old. Finally, they emailed their project to me so that I could compile them in an iMovie. Great work, first graders!
