Yesterday, Luca's mom surprised us as our Royal Reader! She read the book, "Dear Polar Bear" by Barry Ablett. The students were very excited to see that this book had special pull out letters that the polar bear's friends had written to him. We also learned about different bears from around the world, even though this was a fictional story, it was one that listed facts about a few bear species, and the students thought this was especially neat!
